Cindy Bo oversees Boston Medical Center Health System’s strategic plan and priorities with an emphasis on healthcare innovation, growth, sustainability and community and behavioral health integration as the Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer. Cindy is responsible for the following:
• Lead areas of differentiation to broaden and deepen BMCHS’s relevance across populations and geographies to achieve more positive societal impact and increase financial sustainability
• Innovate at the intersection of our target populations, new care delivery models, and use of digital/technology
• Fully leverage our unique position and synergies across and within the three hospitals, physician groups, health plan, accountable care organizations, community health centers, Boston University and our communities
• Transform healthcare to deliver health justice, equity and well-being
• Serve as a Mentor and Coach to Associates from across the BMCHS
Prior to joining Boston Medical Center Health System in 2024, Bo served as the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for the Delaware Valley at Nemours, one of the nation’s largest multi-state freestanding pediatric health systems. She also held consulting and business planning roles at Deloitte, Booz Allen, and Novartis AG and is an Aspen Institute Health Innovators Fellow and a Malcolm Baldrige Fellow. She serves on several distinguished Boards across the United States.
Bo received her Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School, with high distinction, and her bachelor's degree in marketing and management information systems from Binghamton University.
