Kimberly Togliatti-Trickett, MD, MBA, is the Chief Medical Officer for the western region of University Hospitals and in an interim role for the System Chief Medical Officer, the second largest healthcare employer in the State of Ohio. She oversees the physicians in some of the largest community hospitals in a health system with 21 hospitals and three joint ventures. Her focus is striving for zero harm focusing on quality care and patient experience within the hospital. Operationally she optimizes the length of stay efficiency, readmission reduction, and market programmatic service line growth. A practicing physiatrist and internist for the past 23 years, she also serves as Chief Medical Officer for the health system’s Transitions of Care, ensuring that UH patients, through evidence-based practices, are discharged to their highest-value site of care to maximize their recovery. As the Medical Director of the Acute Rehabilitation Center at UH Parma Medical Center, a large community hospital within the health system, Dr. Trickett also teaches resident physicians in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She is the Executive Leader for physician professionalism for the system to ensure accountability at the peer level for coworkers and patients to improve quality of care and collaboration among caregiver, patients, and families. Dr. Trickett is a strategic thinker with a reputation for an inclusive, collaborative management style to achieve team goals and promote critical thinking.
