Ischa Jensen, Associate Executive Director of System Planning, is a healthcare leader with 20 years of experience leading teams to implement strategic initiatives in private practice and academic medical center arenas.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Ischa moved to Utah in 2011 to begin her work with the University of Utah Health system. Her experience has included revenue cycle, project management, health system operations, and, more recently, space planning and strategic integration. As the inaugural leader of the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics (UUHC) System Planning Office, Ischa is focused on developing and supporting master planning efforts to align the complicated and individualistic nature of healthcare operational practice. Specific oversight includes the Operational Project Management Office, Space Planning, UUHC Operational Plan, Capacity and Financial Action Planning, new West Valley Health Site and main campus inpatient expansions.
Ischa resides in the Salt Lake Valley with her husband (Josh), two daughters, Ada (8) and Hazel (3), and two (very large) Bernese Mountain Dogs.
