As Regional Director of Operations at National Cardiovascular Partners, the pioneers of the hybrid outpatient cardiovascular ASC model. John is focused on business growth for the CV / ASC business line throughout the state of Texas, as well as nationally, working on de-novo projects expanding the brand to new markets. Partnering with physician entrepreneurs through development, management, and operations; he is responsible for growth and strategic direction that drives acquisition of market share from larger competitors, repositioning the region as a recognized and credible player in the cardiovascular surgery center space.
Previously, as Chief Operating Officer for MasVida Healthcare Solutions, he presided over three distinct lines of business: SanoTech 360 (BioTech), Kalos Health Services (DME), and Teleos (Healthcare Marketing). John was charged with providing operational oversight to support national and international expansion during a period of significant change. He embraced the need to balance new shared executive responsibilities that resulted from necessary downsizing and consolidation of three related healthcare companies under a new organizational restructuring.
Johns entrepreneurial background and spirit contributes to his hands-on leadership style that energizes dialogue where a potential learning experience may arise. He owned his own consulting business that fostered financial/operational management, real estate acquisition/development and contract negotiations. At one time he owned and operated a steakhouse brewery concept in Lubbock, Texas.
While living in Italy, his first leadership role was during the Persian Gulf War as a member of military intelligence branch of the US Army. John received his MBA and Graduate Certificate in Leadership from Texas Tech University and has served on several board and committees in the past, to include the Better Business Bureau, Communities in Schools, United Way, and the legislative affairs committee for the Texas Ambulatory Surgery Center Society.
John and his wife have four children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors and as much time boating as possible with his family.
