Dr. Vi-Anne Antrum is a seasoned executive with nursing and operations experience spanning over 25 years. She currently serves as the System Chief Nursing Officer and is a Senior Vice President for Cone Health, an integrated health system in Greensboro, NC. Her responsibilities include nursing across the enterprise, rehabiliation services, post-acute care, the behavioral health service line, spiritual care, EACP, dieticians, and respiratory therapy with matrixed responsiibility for all advanced practice providers, transitions of care, and patient experience. She currently chairs the Cone Health Senior Leadership Council.
Dr. Antrum serves on the AONL System Chief Nurse Executive Committee and is the elected Distric 2 representative ffor the North Carolina Organization of Nurse Leaders. Vi also serves the community through board membership for the Greensboro Police Foundation and Union Square Campus. She has received multiple honors over her career including the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Regent Early Careerist Award in 2016, the Cone Health Covid Legend Award in 2020, the NC Great 100 Nurse Award in 2021, the Triad Nurse of Distinction Award in 2022, and the Triad Business Journal Outstanding Woman in Business Award in 2023, and the Exemplary Service Award from ACHE in 2024. She holds an MBA from University of Phoenix and her DNP in systems-level leadership from Thomas Edison State University. She is board certified in executive nursing leadership by AONL and ANCC. She proudly holds the prestigious designation Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is ACHE Regent for North Carolina.
