Clarence Braddock III, M.D., M.P.H., M.A.C.P. serves as a Physician Executive Consultant in WittKieffer's Academic Medicine Practice. In this role, he supports the recruitment of presidents and CEOs, physician executives, deans, department chairs and other senior level positions. A renowned expert in medical education and bioethics, Dr. Braddock is currently Executive Vice Dean and Vice Dean for Education in the David Geffen School of Medicine. In this role he oversees undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate medical programs. In addition, he holds the inaugural Maxine and Eugene Rosenfeld Chair in Medical Education. Among other leadership roles at UCLA, he serves as Executive Director of its Anti-Racism Roadmap; Co-Director, Academy for Excellence in Medical Education; and Interim Director, UCLA Health Ethics Center. He is also a widely-published scholar in the ethics of shared decision making and the patient-physician relationship. Dr. Braddock earned his undergraduate degree at Stanford University and medical degree at the University of Chicago. He completed residency training in the U.S. Navy and completed a general medicine fellowship and master’s in public health degree in health care ethics at the University of Washington.
