Britt Berrett is a well-known and highly respected former President of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas and Executive Vice President of Texas Health Resources. Previously the President and CEO of HCA’s Medical City and Medical City Children’s Hospitals. Hailing from the Lone Star State, Berrett is a proud Texan who loves nothing more than cruising around in his jeep and cooking up some delicious steaks on the grill.
But his passion extends far beyond just Texas and grilling. Berrett has dedicated his career to prepare the next generation of healthcare leaders. He is particularly fond of working with young careerists, students and alumni, sharing his knowledge and experiences to help others make a difference through Christ-like leadership.
He is the co-author of Patients Come Second: Leading Change by Changing the Way You Lead, a New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal Best Seller. He speaks nationally and internationally on organizational culture. In addition, he teaches the CEO Boot Camp at the annual conference of the American College of Healthcare Executive.
He serves as the Managing Director of Healthcare Leadership in the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University
