Cassandra Taft is the Manager of Strategic Integration for University of Utah Health Hospitals and Clinics (UUHC), leading strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drive resource alignment across the health system. In her previous role as an Administrative Fellow at University of Utah Health, Cassandra gained valuable experience in healthcare administration and strategic planning while collaborating closely with executive leadership. Her background includes roles in private practice management and clinical research at Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Clinic, as well as serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in various assisted living centers and Medical/Telemetry inpatient units. These experiences have provided her with firsthand insights into patient care and operational improvements in both clinical and non-clinical settings.
Cassandra holds dual master’s degrees in Healthcare Administration and Business Administration from Weber State University, where she was recognized as an outstanding graduate. An active speaker and mentor, she frequently contributes to national conferences and professional development programs for future healthcare leaders.
Originally from California, Cassandra moved to Utah in 2013 to play collegiate volleyball and now resides there with her husband, Jeremy, and their 1-year-old son, Jayden. She is committed to advancing healthcare and supporting her community.
