Claire Dundon is a Director of Population Health at Oak Street Health, a CVS value-based primary care organization, overseeing nine centers in the Charlotte and South Carolina markets. Her efforts support vital care delivery to Medicare patients through innovative population health initiatives. Claire’s primary responsibilities include establishing clinical screening and documentation best practices, strategizing creative ways to reduce hospital admissions, owning STARS and Quality payor performance, and optimizing operations for growth and schedule access.
Claire graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, pre-medical concentration, and double minors in Chemistry and Psychology from Radford University. While there she also played Division 1 Women’s soccer and won the 2018 Big South Conference Champions. She received her Master of Health Administration at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, serving as the 2022-2023 President of Charlotte Healthcare Executive Student Organization (CHESO), a graduate student professional organization. Claire finished top of her class, earning induction into the prestigious Upsilon Phi Delta Honors Society.
Claire enjoys giving back to the community and volunteering with organizations such as ACHE of Greater Charlotte, March of Dimes, and the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA). Claire is passionate about health equity, innovation, affordable care, and thought leadership. She resides in Charlotte, NC, with her dog, Nala, and enjoys gardening, biking, and traveling.
