Danté Green is a healthcare executive with over 15 years of experience in progressive/executive leadership roles. Danté currently serves as Senior Vice President & Area Manager of the East Bay Service market in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he oversees financial and operational performance of the the multi-billion dollar market with 2 hospitals, 12 medical office buildings, over 16 medical subspecialties, over 5,000 employees, and over 1,000 physicians.. Oakland Medical Center was the first established hospital in Kaiser Permanente and has 12 medical office buildings, 3500 employees, and the largest Graduate Medical Education program in Northern California with over 500 physicians in training.
Prior to joining Oakland Medical Center, Dante’ served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center. He also served as COO at Antioch Medical Center during the global pandemic. Prior to joining KP, Dante served as Chief Operating Officer for New Orleans East Hospital where he was responsible for financial and operational performance, ambulatory services, physician relations, and strategic planning.
His professional affiliations include serving as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE)), adjunct professor for the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, he was also the founder and former President of the National Association of Health Services Executives (N-A-H-S-E) Southeast Louisiana Chapter. Danté currently serves as the President of the N-A-H-S-E Northern California Chapter and is a Board Member of Rubicon Programs. Danté is also a very proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.
Danté received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Xavier University of Louisiana and a Master of Health Administration from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
Danté was born and raised in Vallejo California and currently lives in Oakland California with his wife and two kids.
