Mark has spent his 30-year career serving as a trusted advisor to healthcare clients, helping them evaluate and quantify capital investment in their physical footprint. His work experience is extensive and varied; from rural community hospitals to large academic medical centers and multi-state systems. Prior to joining Ankura, Mark served as the director of design for one of the largest healthcare systems in the U.S. Mark’s deep understanding of the issues that impact this complex industry make him a subject matter expert on issues related to healthcare strategy, planning, prototypes, and building design.

Comprehensive ambulatory strategy resulting in a distributed care model and 10 new medical office buildings that formed a hub and spoke model in Nashville, TN. Program managed execution.
Executive planner shepherding the strategic facilities master planning of 18 acute care campuses and dozens of ambulatory sites for large not-for-profit health system. Included in this role was the design and implementation of several multiphase capital projects. Advisory included budget development and capital prioritization as well as market triggers and pivot strategies.
