Charmaine Spence Rochester, DHA, CPA, FACHE, FHFMA, serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the University of Cincinatti Health System (UC Health). Dr. Rochester has over 30 years of experience in finance and executive leadership, having spent time with organizations such as KPMG, Bon Secours Hampton Roads, and Penn Medicine. Prior to joining UC Health, she was with the Cleveland Clinic Florida serving as CFO and a strategic partner to the CEO as the organization worked to expand its presence in Florida.
Dr. Rochester is board-certified in healthcare management and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA). She holds a Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) from Central Michigan University, an MBA from Florida Atlantic University, an undergraduate degree in accounting from Howard University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Residing in Cincinatti, OH, with her husband Tex, a retired U.S. Navy servicemember, together they are the proud parent of three children, all serving in the United States Air Force and Space Force.
